# Fees

> What fundmysaas takes from a campaign, when it takes it, and who handles invoices and VAT.

fundmysaas takes a percentage of what a campaign collects, and only on success. There is no upfront fee and no fee in shares.

## The platform fee

The rate is fixed on a campaign when an operator approves it and does not change for that campaign afterwards. A fee is rounded down to the cent.

For a reward priced at EUR 100.00, fundmysaas's fee is EUR 5.00 and the rest of the payment, before Stripe's processing fees, stays on your Stripe account. For a campaign that collects EUR 10,000.00, the fee is EUR 500.00.

## Stripe's fees

Stripe's processing fees are separate. Stripe collects them from your account under your agreement with Stripe, and they are shown in your Stripe Dashboard.

## Who pays what

- **Backers** pay the price of the reward and nothing more. fundmysaas adds no fee on top of the price.
- **Founders** pay fundmysaas's fee and Stripe's processing fees out of the payments they collect.

## Invoices and VAT

The founder is the seller of the reward. That means:

- the contract with the backer is the founder's;
- the founder issues the invoice or receipt for the reward and charges VAT where it applies. VAT is due on a prepaid subscription when it is paid;
- the founder's Stripe Dashboard lists the payments and the receipts.

fundmysaas's fee is its own service to the founder. fundmysaas charges VAT on that fee where the law requires it.

## Refunds, disputes and chargebacks

Refunds and chargebacks are taken from the founder's Stripe balance, never from fundmysaas.
