Sway: back the growth of the event app, and prepay Starter or Studio

What Sway is

Sway is an app for people who go out to events. It is free on iOS and Android: find raves and festivals near you, see full lineups and set times, follow your artists and buy tickets. Organisers run their events from a website and from the Backstage app, which scans tickets, runs a box office and takes contactless card payments on a phone.

An organiser can also have their own website on their own domain, which reads its events, lineups and tickets from Sway: see https://www.insomnia.dance, the site of a Belgian techno promoter.

Sway is live at https://www.sway.events. Organiser plans start free (Basic), with paid plans (Starter and Studio) for email marketing, teams and crews. Tickets carry a fee of 3% + EUR 0.30 paid by the buyer, and free tickets carry none. Payouts go through Stripe Connect from the first sale.

What this campaign pays for

The product works. The goal pays for getting it in front of organisers and their crowds:

• marketing to party-goers in Belgium, so the events on Sway find their audience;
• sales to promoters and venues: demos, onboarding and help moving their ticketing to Sway;
• material for organisers: guides, templates and launch support for their first events on Sway.

How backing works

This is a Build fund campaign: your card is saved now and charged when the campaign ends, only if the goal is met. If the goal is not met, nobody is charged.

Each reward is a prepaid organiser plan at the public monthly price: Starter or Studio, for 3, 6 or 12 months. It starts within 14 days after the campaign ends.

Who sells this

Sway SRL (Belgium) sells these rewards and builds Sway. Sway SRL also runs fundmysaas, the platform that hosts this campaign, so it has an interest in this campaign doing well.
